EFTA Tuz operates with the responsibility of "leaving a livable world for future generations" while processing natural resources. By continuously improving our environmental management system, we adopt a production model that preserves ecological balance.
Key Principles of Our Environmental Policy
- Advanced Technology and Minimum Impact: By using the latest technologies in rock salt production, we measure and control environmental effects, turning the goal of minimum impact into reality by minimizing our footprint on nature.
- Resource Efficiency: We commit to using natural resources and energy with the highest efficiency across all our production and operational processes.
- Full Compliance with Legal Regulations: We conduct our activities in full compliance with primary and secondary legal regulations, as well as national and international environmental standards.
- Waste Management and Minimization: We minimize waste at its source and contribute to the circular economy by delivering resulting hazardous and packaging waste to licensed recycling companies.
- Participatory Improvement: We transparently monitor our environmental goals and improve our environmental management system every day through feedback from our employees, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Environmental Health and Our Certifications
As EFTA Group, we guarantee environmental sustainability at all our facilities through official reports and certificates.
- Strategic EIA Approvals: Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports have been obtained for our EFTA Maden production facilities in Kırıkkale-Delice and EFTA Tuz in Ankara-Kahramankazan, resulting in the issuance of "EIA Not Required" certificates.
- Zero Waste Goal: Since no production waste is generated after manufacturing at our facilities, we aim to obtain the "Zero Waste" Environmentally Friendly Production Certificate issued by the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization as soon as possible, in line with this sensitivity.
- EFTA Tuz operates in its modern facilities in the Ankara-Kahramankazan Industrial Zone, maintaining environmental and public health standards at the highest level. Our production processes are managed through a quality network certified by independent organizations and universities.
