From Past to Present
Hasan Özgöbek
"You may lose money, but do not lose your reputation... Young people, learn at least one foreign language, work hard, and be a citizen of the world..." This is the beginning of his every word.
- Born in Uşak in 1964. He completed his primary and secondary education in Uşak, and his high school education at Atatürk High School as a boarder in İzmir.
- Graduated from Selçuk University, Faculty of Civil Engineering in 1985.
- After his military service, he founded GÜRHAN Construction Company in 1989 and worked as a contractor.
- In 1998, at the age of 36, he was elected as a Member of Parliament for Uşak at the invitation of Ecevit. He served on the Plan, Budget, and Foreign Relations Committees as one of the youngest members of parliament. He also took part in the "Mining Research Commission."
- In 2002, he founded EFTA, leading activities in various sectors and bringing the company to its current state.
